BMW for Sankranti 2026 – Blind Mistake by Ravi Teja?

Ravi Teja, once a reliable actor in the trade, is now facing a lot of disappointments after his recent films failed at the box office right from the first day.
In the past ten years, he has made only a few successful movies and has been involved in many flops because of his poor choice of stories. He is getting a lot of criticism from his fans for not considering the audience's taste and for not choosing scripts carefully.

After his latest film, Mass Jathara, turned out to be another big disappointment, his upcoming film with Kishore Tirumala is seen as his last chance to make a comeback.
The film is called Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi, and its funny first look got a lot of positive reactions after it was released on Monday afternoon. It looks like this movie will be a comedy and could attract a lot of families during the festival season.

But, releasing this film during Sankranti 2026 will be a big risk for Ravi Teja.
Although the first look suggests that Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi will be a funny story and might connect with the masses, it will be tough to make money because there are many other big films coming out at the same time.

Sankranti 2026 will have a lot of big releases.
Films like The Raja Saab and Mana Shankar Vara Prasad Garu are expected to take up most of the screens and have high expectations. Naveen Polishetty’s Anaganaga Oka Raju is also aiming for the same week. Even Sharwanand is in the race with his film Nari Nari Naduma Murari. There are also two Tamil films - Vijay’s Jana Nayakudu and Siva Karthikeyan’s Parashakthi. Among these, Vijay’s Jana Nayakudu is expected to get more screens since it’s his last film.

In this situation, even if Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi gets a good response, how it does at the box office will depend a lot on how well the other films are doing.
Since Ravi Teja is in one of the toughest periods of his career, it would have been better if he avoided competing with big films and instead chose a solo release or a time with less competition to make a strong comeback.

The team’s plan to benefit from the festival mood and get a good start might not work well due to the high level of competition this time.
