The movie earned Rs 1.07 crore on its opening day and added another Rs 89 lakhs on Saturday, bringing its total box office collection in India to Rs 1.96 crore across all languages.

According to early estimates from the industry tracker Sacnilk website, Jatadhara recorded an overall Telugu occupancy of 14.92% and Hindi occupancy of 7.68% on November 8, 2025.

Performance breakdown by language
In the Telugu market, Jatadhara has a better presence.
The morning shows had around 12.21% occupancy, which increased slightly to 17.42% by the night shows. The Hindi version struggled to gain traction, with occupancy peaking at 11.61% during the night shows.

Storyline and performances
Jatadhara, directed by Abhishek Jaiswal and Venkat Kalyan, delves into an ancient legend about nobles who sealed treasures using sacred rituals known as "bandanas."
One of these was the Pisachi Bandana, which unleashed a fierce guardian spirit named Dhanapisachi.

The story follows Shiva (played by Sudheer Babu), a rational ghost hunter who is forced to question his beliefs when he gets involved in this ancient curse.
Sonakshi Sinha, Shilpa Shirodkar, Indira Krishnan, and Ravi Prakash deliver strong performances in this epic film.

According to ETimes review, "On the technical front, the film impresses with its grandeur and visual appeal.
The production design and cinematography effectively capture the mythic tone of the narrative, creating an atmospheric backdrop."
