Director Puri Jagannadh’s upcoming action drama Slum Dog, featuring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role, is currently in the final stages of post-production.
With the film, which has the intriguing tagline 33 Temple Road, preparing for its theatrical release, the makers have started promoting it by releasing the teaser today.
The teaser starts with Vijay Sethupathi reflecting on the difficult lives of beggars and warning those who take advantage of them.
As the visuals progress, the teaser moves into a mix of action scenes, emotional moments, and character introductions, drawing viewers into a world that seems both dangerous and unpredictable.
The main point of interest, however, is the mystery around Sethupathi’s character.
While he is shown as a blind beggar facing tough realities, the teaser suggests there might be something more to his story. Whether he is really blind or hiding a bigger secret remains the main question.
Puri Jagannadh seems to have created another unique and unconventional hero, and Vijay Sethupathi plays the role with great conviction.
His tough transformation, controlled acting, and strong presence on screen immediately attract attention.
Samyuktha brings elegance as the female lead, and Tabu adds strength as a determined police officer.
Duniya Vijay portrays the antagonist with a dangerous edge.
Sam K Naidu’s cinematography captures the rough and real atmosphere in a stylish way, while Harshavardhan Rameshwar’s intense background music adds a strong emotional impact to every scene.
Produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under Puri Connects, in collaboration with JB Narayan Rao Kondrolla’s JB Motion Pictures, the production looks impressive.
By mixing mystery with a wide appeal, the teaser manages to pull audiences into the world of Slum Dog: 33 Temple Road.
The makers have announced the film will be released soon in all South Indian languages and Hindi.
