Rajinikanth breaks silence on controversy with VIjay

Superstar Rajinikanth told a story about a crow and an eagle at the audio launch event for "Jailer." It caused fan fights between Rajini and Vijay's followers after it ballooned out of proportion. Now, Rajinikanth clarified that Thalapathy Vijay was not the focus of the story. He isn't my rival however a well-wisher," said Rajinikanth.

Rajinikanth's anecdote at the "Jailer" audio launch sparked a social media storm, with fans speculating that it was directed at Vijay. Rajinikanth made the statement, "Vijay grew up in front of my eyes," despite his disappointment at the misinterpretation of his speech. He was only 13 years old when "Dharmathin Thalaivan" was being shot. Vijay expressed an interest in acting when I was introduced to him by SA Chandrasekar following the shooting. I encouraged him to focus on his examinations first."

Rajinikanth praised Vijay for his discipline, dedication, and talent, which helped him rise to stardom in the film industry.
