Namrata Talks About Mahesh’s Unique Dubbing Experience

Mahesh Babu has been roped in to voice Mufasa in Disney's upcoming film Mufasa: The Lion King, which hits theaters on December 20. A visually stunning family entertainer, the film reimagines the cult story with a special focus on Mufasa's backstory. Today, Namrata Shirodkar and the Disney team spoke to media about the project.

Namrata said she regrets that Mahesh could not be present at the event. "It's unfortunate that Mahesh could not be a part of this wonderful event today, but I'm grateful to Disney and Siva Prasad for making this wonderful event possible. "I am really looking forward to watching the film with you all on December 20," she said.

On her thoughts after watching the trailer, Namrata said, "I have always loved Disney films, especially The Lion King. It is truly heartwarming to see Mufasa come to life on screen. It is a family film that everyone can enjoy. I am looking forward to everyone experiencing the emotional journey that this film will take you through."

Namrata also spoke about her experience dubbing for Mahesh Babu's film, revealing, "Mahesh was not particularly keen on dubbing for his own films, but he had a lot of fun dubbing for Mufasa."

Other well-known Telugu actors such as Brahmanandam, Ali, Satyadev and Ayyappa Sharma have also provided their voices for the film.
