Balakrishna to be Honored with Padma Bhushan Award

Famous Telugu performing artist Nandamuri Balakrishna has been conferred with the prestigious ‘Padma Bhushan’ grant, which is the third-highest civilian grant in India. Balakrishna has been presented with this respect nowadays as the government of India reported the Padma Grants ahead of the Republic Day. Balakrishna has been given this grant for his administrations in the field of art.

A add up to of 139 Padma Grants were declared nowadays, out of which 113 were Padma Shri, 19 were Padma Bhushan and seven were Padma Vibhushan. Whereas Balakrishna has been granted Padma Bhushan from Andhra Pradesh, Dr Duvvuri Nageshwar Reddy has been granted the Padma Vibhushan from Telangana for his administrations in the field of medication and wellbeing care.
