Akhanda Thaandavam: Now It’s All Up to the Boyapati–Balayya Combo

Nandamuri Balakrishna's highly anticipated sequel to his blockbuster Akhanda was delayed at the last minute just before its original release date on December 5th due to financial problems and legal issues.
This unexpected delay has become a hot topic in Tollywood.

After overcoming all the challenges, the makers have now officially confirmed that Akhanda 2 will be released on December 12th.
Even though the film didn't open last Friday and there was uncertainty about the release date until now, it still has a lot of excitement among the audience.

The controversy and confusion about the release date have actually made more people talk about the film in the last few days.
Even those who don't usually get excited about movies have shown support for the film and are hoping that the legal and financial issues get resolved quickly.

Although the film is now a week later than originally planned, the opening is expected to be very strong because of the popularity of the Balakrishna–Boyapati Srinu combination.
If the film gets good reviews, it has a strong chance of making a big impact at the box office in Telugu states.

The Bollywood film Dhurandhar is doing well with its Hindi version even in Telugu states, especially since Akhanda 2 was postponed.
So, Akhanda 2 might affect Dhurandhar's strong performance if the Balayya–Boyapati combo gets positive reviews, which could lead to more showtimes.

Also, it has a good chance of doing well in the North region because of its genre and the high level of expectation from Hindi audiences, especially if the Sanatana Dharma element resonates with them.
