Anil Ravipudi is the top Sankranti director in Tollywood in recent years because he made three big, successful movies in a row: F2, Sarileru Neekevvaru, and Sankranti ki Vastunnam.
Even though there were other big movies coming out, Ravipudi managed to make films that everyone loved and they all became huge hits.
Now, for the upcoming Sankranti season, Ravipudi wants to keep his winning streak going with his new movie, Mana Shankar Vara Prasad Garu, starring Megastar Chiranjeevi.
This film is expected to be just as entertaining as his previous ones. However, it won’t be an easy path for him this time. Not only will there be competition from other big films, but even some smaller and medium-budget movies are getting good reviews and are expected to do well.
The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas, is a major threat, and Thalapathy Vijay’s farewell film, Jana Nayagan, is another big name coming out at the same time.
Both of these movies will come out three days before Chiru’s MSVPG.
Other films in the mix are Ravi Teja’s Bhartha Mahasayalaku Wignyapthi and Naveen Polishetty’s Ananaganaga Oka Raju.
These movies have already caught the attention of moviegoers because of the exciting content shown in their teasers. Sharwanand’s family drama Nari Nari Naduma Murari is also likely to get a lot of attention because of its genre.
Interestingly, Anil Ravipudi hasn’t started his usual promotional activities yet, even though there is a lot of competition during this festival season.
Unlike previous years, it will be more difficult for him to keep up with the race because other films are also planning aggressive promotions.
With just 20 days left until the biggest film festival, Ravipudi needs to increase his promotional efforts for MSVPG.
So far, only two songs and a title teaser have been released. He will need to step up his marketing in the coming days to make another Sankranti hit.
