Ram Charan officially confirmed the release date during his speech at the trailer launch of his film 'Champion' in Hyderabad today.
When the host asked about 'Peddi,' Ram Charan said the shooting is underway and announced that the film will hit theaters on March 27th. He even joked that 'Champion' will come out next, followed by Sankranti films, and then 'Peddi' will be next.
Earlier, there were reports that Pawan Kalyan's film 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' might take the March 27th slot if 'Peddi' gets delayed.
However, Ram Charan's producer sent another thank you note for the song "Chikiri Chikiri" and confirmed the release date again. Now, the actor himself has put an end to all the confusion and clarified that the film is on schedule for an early summer release. So, Buchi is probably working fast to meet the deadline and give Ram Charan fans a birthday gift.
Since the first glimpse was released earlier this year, 'Peddi' has been creating a lot of excitement.
The first single "Chikiri Chikiri," which is available in multiple languages, has generated a lot of buzz and taken the hype for Buchi Babu's direction to a new level. Trade experts are expecting a huge opening at the box office because of the high level of anticipation.
The film is directed by Buchi Babu and features Kannada superstar Shivaraj Kumar in a major role.
Jahnvi Kapoor is the female lead, and the music is composed by AR Rahman.
