All three films faced legal issues and problems before they could be shown.
It was shocking that Thalapathy Vijay’s highly anticipated farewell movie, *Jana Nayagan*, got postponed indefinitely. *Parashakti*, starring Sivakarthikeyan, finally came out on time after some issues with the censor board. However, the film only received mixed reviews from both critics and moviegoers.
Interestingly, the team behind *Parashakti* has been saying that some fans are spreading bad things about the film on purpose to hurt its performance.
They accused Vijay’s fans of launching an online smear campaign, giving biased ratings on platforms like BookMyShow and others.
Now, *Parashakti* director Sudha Kongara Prasad has indirectly criticized Vijay’s fans for trying to harm the film.
In her recent interview, she said that some people are using fake identities to attack the film and spread false information.
She also mentioned several threatening messages on social media that were directed at the makers of *Parashakti*.
She openly said that these attacks are not from political groups but from Vijay’s fans, whose film didn’t come out during the festival. She also expressed her disappointment about dealing with rowdy and violent behavior.
*Parashakti* released in theatres on January 10.
The film had a lot of issues with the censor board right up until the last moment and got a U/A certificate with 25 changes just one day before its planned release.
