Interestingly, the Telugu version of the trailer for Parasakthi hasn't been released along with the Tamil one.
This is surprising because the film features Sree Leela, a popular Tollywood actress, as the female lead. Also, Sivakarthikeyan has a strong fan base in Telugu states.
Earlier, there were rumors that Parasakthi would release at the same time in Telugu as well, despite the fact that there are several big movies coming out during the Sankranti season.
The team had also shared promotional content in Telugu to build excitement among the audience. However, they stopped sharing updates in the last few days, which raised questions about whether the Telugu release was still planned.
It seems that the busy festival schedule in Tollywood might have made the team change their plan.
It's hard to find enough screens in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana because most of them are already booked for direct Telugu films. Even the remaining screens are probably taken up by Vijay's Jana Nayakudu.
There's a possibility that Parasakthi might be delayed for a Telugu release after the Sankranti festival ends.
But in Tamil Nadu, it will face strong competition from Jana Nayagan, which is directed by H. Vinoth and has been generating a lot of buzz. Also, this film marks Vijay's last appearance on screen.
