What An Irony! Budget Restrictions For Shankar?

Director Shankar Shanmugam was the one who started the trend of big, all-India movies that are now common in Indian cinema. He was the first to bring in big budgets and fancy visuals that made movies really exciting for audiences. But lately, Shankar hasn't been doing as well. His last few films like Robot 2, Indian 2, and Game Changer didn't meet people's expectations, and he's been struggling to get big stars and producers to support his ideas.

Because of these bad results, it's been thought that his next big project, based on a Tamil novel called Velpari, might be hard to fund.
But now, it seems like he has found a producer. The producer is from Pen Studios, a company that helps release South Indian movies across North India. They have agreed to help with the money for the film, but with some rules.

Pen Studios wants Shankar to share the budget plan and the schedule for filming.
They also want a written promise from him that he won't go over the budget once the shooting starts. It's not clear if Shankar has agreed to these conditions yet. The film might start production once he signs a deal with the producer.

A few months ago, Shankar was confident that his dream project would come to life.
He hasn't announced the cast or crew for this big, upcoming drama, which is expected to be his biggest film so far.
