Boyapati at Crossroads – Which Road Will He Take?

Director Boyapati's Bollywood debut seems to be going in circles. After working on Akhanda 2, he shared a story idea with Ranveer Singh and was ready to start the project. But then, the massive success of Dhrandhar made Ranveer's film schedule and budgets grow, which pushed Boyapati's project back.

Not getting discouraged, Boyapati approached Rana Daggubati for a pan-India film, but that also isn't moving forward.
Now, there are new reports that Mythri Movie Makers are trying to get Boyapati to direct Jaat 2.

After Jaat was successful, Mythri announced a sequel, but director Gopichand Malineni left the project.
Even Rajkumar Santoshi was considered, but that didn't happen.

Producers are thinking Boyapati is a good fit because of his mass appeal and his ability to elevate heroes.
Sunny Deol is coming back for Jaat 2. Reportedly, Mythri has offered Boyapati a good deal to direct the sequel, and he is yet to decide.

But Boyapati is unsure whether to take this project or go ahead with his own film.
Rumors say he's confused between making his own movie or taking Jaat 2 and making important changes according to his style. For now, he's at a crossroads.
