Did Naga Vamsi’s Impulsiveness Help Mad Square or Not?

Mad is one of the successful film series in Telugu cinema.
Right after the first movie was a hit, the team quickly started working on Mad 2, which is called Mad Square. The film was directed by Kalyan Shankar and Sangeeth Shobhan, who also played one of the main characters. He recently said that if given a chance, he would not have made the film.

During an interview with Gulte pro as part of the promotions for the movie Rakasa, Sangeeth admitted that the team rushed into making Mad Square.
He explained that after the success of Mad, the team went to Goa to relax. While there, they came up with some ideas, which Kalyan later suggested to Naga Vamsi. Vamsi quickly pushed the team to make the film.

Sangeeth said, “I wouldn’t say it’s bad, but Vamsi is an impulsive person.
But it was his courage that made Mad possible. If given a chance, we wouldn’t have made Mad 2, but maybe we would have done it a little differently. It is Vamsi’s courage that keeps us going.”

Earlier, Naga Vamsi had admitted that he rushed the team into making the film and could have given them more time to make it better.
Despite this, many people loved Mad Square more than the first movie.

The truth is that Mad Square could have been better if the team had more time.
Kalyan is a skilled writer and director who could have delivered a better film.

Even now, people on social media still debate whether Vamsi’s impulsiveness was good or bad in the case of Mad Square.
However, the best part is that Vamsi used the Mad craze and hype without letting it fade. Regardless of everything, the film did not fail at the box office. But it could have been even better with more time.

Naga Vamsi might have learned his lesson from this experience and won’t repeat it again.
