Dacoit’s Hindi: Unexpectedly Underwhelming

Adivi Sesh's latest movie, Dacoit, got decent reactions at the box office. People liked the acting of the main actors, both from audiences and critics. Sesh wanted the film to reach people all over India, but it didn't do very well in Hindi markets.

Recently, not all Telugu or South Indian movies are getting much attention across the country.
The team behind Dacoit tried hard to promote the Hindi version too. Sesh already has a strong fan base in Hindi regions, but that didn't help the film make much money.

Even though the makers said they shot the film in Telugu and Hindi at the same time, it didn't create a lot of excitement.
The presence of actors like Mrunal Thakur, Anurag Kashyap, and Zayn Marie didn't help much either, and the film didn't do well in terms of opening and ongoing performance in Hindi.

Trade experts say the film made about 5-6 crore net, which shows it didn't do very well in Hindi.
So, filmmakers from the South should be careful about making separate Hindi versions in the future and should consider what Hindi audiences like.
