It has been three months since Megastar Chiranjeevi's last movie came out, and there's still no clear information about when his next film will be released. The situation remains uncertain regarding his long-delayed science fiction thriller, Vishwambhara. The official launch of Mega158 has also been pushed back several times for unknown reasons.
Originally planned for Sankranti last year, Vishwambhara was delayed to allow time for reworking the VFX effects, which got mixed reactions after the first trailer was released.
Even after 15 months, the makers haven't officially announced a release date.
Because of these repeated delays, the excitement around this big-budget film is slowly disappearing.
The team hasn't shared any updates about the film for recent festivals. The project initially created a lot of buzz because of its genre and the fact that it's being directed by talented filmmaker Mallidi Vassishta.
The long wait is starting to affect the hype, especially since UV Creations has been quiet.
Sharwanand's film Biker, from the same production house, was released last Friday and got good reviews. It's time for the makers of Vishwambhara to start promoting the film before it's too late, as many other major films are finalizing their release dates in the coming months.
Meanwhile, the much-anticipated film featuring Bobby has also been delayed because the producer was busy with Thalapathy Vijay's Jana Nayagan.
This project has been generating solid excitement as Bobby previously delivered a blockbuster with Waltair Veerayya. Mega fans are eagerly waiting for this project to start, as Bobby promised to show Chiru in a new mass avatar.
As time is passing quickly, both Vishwambhara and Mega 158 need to start making some noise soon so fans can finally have some relief.
