From Mahesh To Allu Arjun To Jaya Krishna

A new member of the Ghattamaneni family is entering Telugu cinema.

 Jaya Krishna, the grandson of the legendary actor Krishna and the nephew of Mahesh Babu, is making his debut with the film Sreenivasa Mangapuram. The movie is directed by Ajay Bhupathi and produced by Gemini Kiran, and it is being presented by Ashwini Dutt. At a special event, the team introduced the main actors, Jaya Krishna and Rasha Thadani.

Speaking about his first film, Jaya Krishna said the story caught his attention right away when Ajay Bhupathi told it a year ago.

 He felt the role would help him grow as an actor and show off his talents. He also thanked Ashwini Dutt, explaining how she has a special relationship with his family through movies like Agni Parvatham and Raja Kumarudu.

Senior filmmaker K. Raghavendra Rao wished the team success and hoped the film would do very well at the box office.

 He liked the songs and the traditional look in the visuals. “Agni Parvatham with Krishna, made under Vyjayanthi Movies, was a huge hit. Raja Kumarudu with Mahesh Babu was also a massive success. Now Vyjayanthi is introducing Jaya Krishna. The boy is Sreenivas and the girl is Manga. I wish this film earns every single rupee possible.”

Director Ajay Bhupathi praised Jaya Krishna.

 â€œNo one speaks badly about Krishna. He was a real superstar with a huge fan base. He took risks that other heroes never dared to take. Jaya Krishna has those same qualities—everything about that boy is special. I believe music should be a key part of my films, and this one’s music will be a blockbuster too. Ashwini Dutt is a legendary producer who keeps a close eye on everything. Even though the leads are new, I’m not worried. Jaya Krishna has strong acting skills and a great screen presence. Raasha is the best heroine I’ve ever worked with. The film has six songs, all shot outdoors. The story happens in two different settings. We’ll reveal them in the trailer.”  

Ashwini Dutt said, “Just mentioning NTR’s name brings a lot of emotion to people.

 I made my first film with him in 1975 and another in 1977. After that, I worked with Ghattamaneni Krishna, who was just as amazing. Over the years, I have had the honor of introducing talents like Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun. Now, we are proud to introduce Jaya Krishna.”  

Sreenivasa Mangapuram is preparing for its release.
