Rumors about Jailer 2 are getting more serious, with news saying the eagerly awaited sequel has now been moved to September 4.
Even though the team hasn't officially announced this change, people in the film industry in K-town say the delay is because some parts of the movie don't meet their goals.
It is said that a few scenes didn't turn out as planned, so the team is going back to rework those parts and try to make the movie better, probably by editing.
Those close to the project say they aren't in a rush and want to take more time to make sure the film lives up to the high expectations set by the first movie.
Another reason for the delay is that the full filming isn't done yet, with around a month of shooting still left.
Some people in the industry think the delay happened after a recent issue with a cameo appearance, which caused confusion about the schedule and changes to the script.
Now the team is focusing on improving the final version instead of rushing to release it.
Even though the release date has been pushed back, fans are still very excited to see Rajinikanth return in another action-packed role.
The makers are expected to give an official update on the release date soon.
