Peddi Budget Shock Raises Stakes For Buchi Babu

The ongoing dispute between movie makers and show organizers regarding the percentage model has now put Peddi in the spotlight. At a recent Chamber meeting, the film’s producer Venkata Satish Kilaru reportedly spoke emotionally, saying, “My release was planned even before this problem. I spent 350 crores on this film. We already postponed it from March 27 and April 30. My film shouldn’t be affected by this percentage model issue.”

This statement has become a big topic of discussion in the industry, especially because earlier reports said the film’s budget was around 200 to 250 crores, which is already a huge amount.

The news that the film was made with a massive 350 crore budget has surprised many trade analysts and fans.

What makes this project even more interesting is that director Buchi Babu Sana reportedly filmed most of the scenes in real locations to keep things authentic, instead of using a lot of sets or special effects.

The big scale and high quality of the visuals are already clear from the songs and promotional clips released so far.
Trade experts believe that if Buchi Babu’s story and screenplay hit the right emotional notes, the huge scale of Peddi could make it a major pan-India blockbuster.
