Ugly Fights, Chaos & Peace: What Happened Inside Chamber Meeting?

Participants were cleared for Peddi as a committee comprising members from each of the three sectors was formed to address the issue.

A percentage system was agreed upon but would be implemented only after Peddi.

The committee would determine the terms and other conditions.

Prior to this, the chamber had witnessed intense conflicts, with complete chaos as participants shouted and charged at each other.

Suniel lost his temper and threatened "Khatam Kartha Thum."

His close aide, Exhibitor Sridhar, and Producer Naga Vamsi were on the verge of confrontation.

Chamber President Suresh Babu lost control at this behavior, and there was a moment when he might have walked out.

However, the meeting was brought back to order by Allu Aravind.

He stood up and stated, "Producers have agreed to the percentage system.

It is not fair for Exhibitors to demand immediate action. Peddi is a film important to everyone. Therefore, you should also cool down and agree."

FDC Chairman Dil Raju also intervened and played a significant role in convincing Exhibitors to agree with the committee.

Producers insisted on having active members in the committee, a stance that C Kalyan, Chadalavada, and Prasanna strongly opposed.

Supriya, Bapineedu, Mythri Ravi, Cherukuri Sudhakar, SKN, and Prasanna were nominated from the producers' side.

Naga Vamsi and Suniel Narang were excluded from the committee to avoid conflicts.

Interestingly, those who spoke to the media, producers said the committee would resolve the issue in 1-2 months.

However, Exhibitors claimed they had been promised a plan within 1-2 weeks, and the media would be informed that it would take 1-2 months to avoid any impact on Peddi's business.

Once the terms are finalized, it is clear that Peddi will be exempted.

Producers agreed to the committee only after Exhibitors promised to exempt Peddi.
