When PM Modi Enquired About Peddi

Mega Powerstar Ram Charan is currently promoting the film Peddi all over the country. As part of the promotional activities in various cities, the team behind Peddi is in Delhi today for the promotions. During the film's promotional events, Ram Charan shared that Prime Minister Modi once asked him, "What is this Peddi all about?"

When Ram Charan was in Delhi previously, it was reported that he met PM Modi.
During their chat, Modi casually asked about Charan's upcoming projects and showed interest in learning more about Peddi. It was then that Charan explained that Peddi is about empowering villages, which is loosely inspired by the government’s Vikasith Bharath campaign.

During the same conversation, Modi told Charan about a village where a football player named Mohammed came from.
He grew up in a remote village near West Bengal and became a great sports player. It is said that now, more than 80 people from the same village are playing the sport.

Charan also told Modi that Peddi is one of the projects that empowers villages and makes a difference through his efforts.
"Peddi is that person who brings the difference in empowering more people," Charan said.

The trailer of Peddi already showed that Ram Charan will be seen playing several sports in the film.
Now that Charan has shared more details, the film will also carry a social message about empowering others.

Peddi is directed by Buchi Babu Sana and will have a grand pan-India release on June 4th.
