Mohanlal, who is popularly known as Lalettan by his fans, had a big comeback last year with the successful movies L2: Empuraan and Thudarum. Both films did really well and showed why Mohanlal is still one of the biggest stars in Malayalam cinema.
But lately, his success has not been as strong.
His emotional movie Hridayapurvam did not do as well as people had hoped, even though there was some good expectation. Things got worse with Vrushabha, which turned out to be a big box office failure and didn’t please either critics or viewers.
His most recent film, Patriot, which had Mammootty in the cast, also failed to make a strong impression.
These repeated disappointments have now made people focus more on one movie that fans really believe in: Drishyam 3.
The Drishyam series is one of the most loved thriller stories in Indian cinema, and Mohanlal’s character, Georgekutty, has become a big favorite over the years.
Fans are hopeful that Georgekutty can help Lalettan succeed again at the box office.
With a lot of excitement around the sequel, people are really looking forward to it.
The big question now is whether Drishyam 3 can help Mohanlal return to his winning form and end his recent run of unimpressive films.
