But not everyone in this industry is honest.
Some people trick people by selling them false promises about making it in films. This has happened in Hyderabad, where an old couple was cheated out of 3.5 crore rupees by another couple who pretended to be movie producers.
The couple, who called themselves Ashok and Vijayalakshmi from A4 Motion Pictures, tricked an old man named Hanuman Rao from Kukatpally.
They told him that they would make his son a big movie star and that the film would make a lot of money. In return, they asked for 3.5 crore rupees.
Over the past few years, Hanuman Rao gave them the money.
When he realized he had been fooled, he tried to get his money back. But the couple threatened to ruin his son’s future and refused to return the money.
With no other choice, Hanuman Rao has now gone to the Hyderabad Police to get his money back.
This is another example of how dangerous and fake some people can be in the film business, which is why many people warn others not to trust strangers in this field.
