Tollywood Casting Artist Booked For Harassing Young Actress

The negative side of the film industry is still getting attention, as another serious problem has come up from Hyderabad. A casting artist has been taken into police custody after an actress accused him of harassment and not paying her money that was owed to her.

The actress said that Prasad, who works as a casting coordinator, helped her get a part in the movie Aakasamlo Oka Tara, where she played a character similar to the heroine.

Even though the filming of her role was done several months ago, she said she hasn't received the money she was supposed to get.

According to her complaint, she is still waiting for Rs 90,000 as payment for her work and Rs 38,000 for travel expenses.

She said she reminded him several times, but he kept delaying the payment without giving a proper reason.

She also claimed that Prasad later called her for a meeting, saying it was about settling her money.

But instead, he allegedly physically harassed her and promised her bigger roles and more chances in Tollywood.

After talking to her family, the actress went to the police to ask for help and protection.

The police in Banjara Hills registered a case and are now looking into the matter. This incident has once again shown the challenges many artists face in the film industry.
