God Of War: Tamil Negativity Crossing The Line?

One of the biggest and most respected projects in Indian cinema was announced last night. It was officially confirmed that Junior NTR will be working with Trivikram on a huge action movie based on Lord Murugan.

This project has been highly anticipated for the past year, and now it is finally moving forward with this collaboration.

But right after the announcement, there was a strong reaction from some Tamil people.
The reason was a statement made by the makers that said Murugan was born in the north and is worshipped in the south.

This statement upset many in the Tamil community because they believe Murugan was born in Tamil Nadu and is part of their culture.
They are taking it very seriously and are trying to make the case that Murugan is their god.

In reality, no god can belong to just one region or language.
What the Tamil people are doing on social media now is not fair or appropriate.

It's true that the Tamil people have deep respect and love for Lord Murugan, but that doesn't mean they have exclusive rights to him.
This is a matter of knowledge and belief, and everyone has their own understanding.

It's surprising to see such strong reactions from Tamil people on social media, just because of the film's regional angle.
That's not healthy. They should wait for the film to come out and then judge it based on its quality, not just claim credit for it right away.
