No Actress Deserves the Iron Leg Tag: Bhagyashri

Bhagyashri Borse, who recently had her first successful commercial film called Lenin, felt emotional while talking about the tough times she faced earlier in her career.During a recent interview, she shared how she was unfairly called an "Iron Leg" after a few movies didn't do well.

She explained that she heard these comments after the films Kantha and Andhra King Taluka didn't perform as expected.

Bhagyashri said it's common for people to blame heroines when their movies fail, but she believes those judgments are not fair.

She also mentioned that actors don't have much control over the filmmaking process.

She said big decisions like editing, rewriting the story, and even the final version of the film are made by the director and producers, leaving actors with very little say.

Bhagyashri added that if she were part of all the big creative choices along with the hero, director, and producer, she would take equal responsibility for the film's outcome. But until then, she feels such labels don't mean much.

Her honest talk has touched many people. After finally succeeding with Lenin, Bhagyashri hopes that audiences will stop judging actresses just based on how well a film does at the box office and instead understand that filmmaking is a team effort.
