Venky’s Clear Message to Bollywood Stars Eyeing South Cinema

Deepika Padukone decided not to be part of Kalki 2 and Spirit because she couldn’t agree with the way things work in South cinema.When the projects were announced, there was a lot of discussion online, and many fans supported her choice.

Even now, a lot of filmmakers are being asked for their opinions on this.

The most recent one is director Venky Atluri, who is working on the promotions of Viswanath and Sons, a film starring Suriya.Venky gave a realistic response: Bollywood actors need to be ready to adjust to the conditions they are given.

He said, “If I’m doing a Bollywood film, I will learn about the culture and the working standards there.

Then I will start working.The same goes for a Bollywood actor coming to Telugu cinema—they need to adjust in the same way.We usually work for 11 to 12 hours on set.Whether it’s a Tamil, Malayalam, or Hindi actor, they should be ready to follow Telugu working conditions.”  

Venky Atluri makes films in Telugu and Tamil and isn’t interested in working in Hindi cinema.

But he still made a thoughtful statement about learning the culture and respecting the working standards, which shows he’s professional.

In the same way, anyone who wants to work in Telugu or South cinema should understand the working conditions and be ready to change as needed.

If someone is too stubborn, they might not be able to survive in that environment.

As for Viswanath and Sons, the film also stars Mamitha Baiju as the female lead.

GV Prakash Kumar is the music director.The movie was shot in Tamil and will be dubbed into Telugu.It is set to release on August 14th.
