The director of Animal said that he and Vijay are working on reworking the film and releasing a longer version.
Arjun Reddy, which was later remade in Hindi as Kabir Singh, was a big milestone in both their careers.
But the project might take some time because Sandeep is currently too busy to give enough time to the extended version.
Vijay would need only two to three days to record his lines for the new parts, while Sandeep would have to work on the film for about 15 to 20 days.
Right now, Sandeep can't set aside 15 to 20 days because of his packed schedule and ongoing projects.
So the extended version is still in the planning stage.
Arjun Reddy was Sandeep Reddy Vanga's first time directing a film.
It came out in 2017 and was a huge success, which was also a big turning point for Vijay Deverakonda's career.
The film developed a strong following among fans, and its Hindi remake, Kabir Singh, also became a major box office hit.
If the extended version comes out for the 10th anniversary, it could once again bring the popular Sandeep-Vijay team back to the cinema screen.
