Successful producer Sudhakar Cherukuri of SLV Cinemas is supporting the action drama #KJQ, which features Deekshith Shetty, Shashi Odela, and Yukti Thareja in important roles.This film is the last movie directed by the late Kiran Kumar (KK), who passed away last year.The team held a pre-release event for the film today.
Sampath Nandi shared, “I should have been here with Kiran today.
Instead, I came here in his memory.Our friendship started over twenty years ago.We began our careers together, working with another filmmaker.Kiran always talked about making a great film, but life had different plans.He was brave, different, and always believed in doing things his way.He first showed me the script for KJQ, and I was supposed to produce it.Eventually, the project went to Sudhakar Cherukuri, who fully supported Kiran’s vision.”
Srikanth Odela said, “KJQ was much more than a film for Kiran.
It was his lifelong dream.He wasn’t just an amazing filmmaker but also a very sincere person.Every time I met him, he reminded me of Vijay Deverakonda’s character in Arjun Reddy.He even took care of stray dogs with so much love.That’s the kind of heart he had.He gave everything to this film, but sadly, he didn’t live to see it reach the audience.My biggest hope is that this film becomes a huge success in his memory.”
Actors Shashi Odela and Deekshith Shetty also expressed their deep emotional connection to the project, saying that KJQ is a fitting tribute and a heartfelt farewell to director Kiran Kumar.
The event also featured Sandeep Raj and Mythri Ravi.
