Tamil Break Even: A Big Challenge For Vishwanath And Sons?

Suriya's Vishwanath And Sons did well on Monday in Telugu because the drop on the first working day was within an acceptable range. However, the Tamil version showed signs of a big drop, which is concerning.

During the first weekend, the Tamil version made slightly less than the Telugu version, but on Monday, it was 30% behind the Telugu version.

The movie earned 40 Crore in Tamil Nadu, which means it needs around 90 Crore in total to break even.

In the first four days, the movie made about 30 Crore in Tamil Nadu, so there is still a long way to go.

Things are definitely not easy.

Meanwhile, in Telugu, the movie has already crossed the 7.2 Crore NRA amount in Nizam and will recover the remaining 2 Crore Recoverable Advance by the end of the next weekend.

The movie did business in a 10 Crore ratio in Andhra and might break even by the end of the run.

Ceded will be the only area where the buyers will face a loss.
But for the producer, the overflow in Nizam will cover that loss.

So, for now, Tamil Nadu is the main area of concern.
