Irumudi Did 2-3 Times More Than We Expected: Producers

 For director Shiva Nirvana, the success of Irumudi means more than just another big hit in his career.The movie, featuring Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja, has given him a fresh sense of confidence and freedom to explore different kinds of stories.

At the film’s Generational Blockbuster celebration, Shiva Nirvana said Irumudi changed how he sees his creative path and allowed him to move beyond the idea that he only makes light-hearted and emotional movies.

He said, "When I made films like Ninnu Kori and Majili, people thought Shiva Nirvana only made good light-hearted movies.

What Irumudi gave me is the confidence and freedom that a Shiva Nirvana film can be anything.Now, I can explore more."

The director also thanked the film’s mix of devotional, crime, and emotional elements for connecting strongly with the audience.

He said the way these different parts blended together was key to the movie’s success at the box office."The three layers blending together definitely worked.Telugu audiences completely owned the film in theatres," he said.

He added that the film’s social message was carefully woven into the story, not presented as a separate idea.

He wanted to show the challenges women face in a strong and natural way.

"When I thought about the different areas where a girl faces problems, I wanted to speak about all those issues in a hard-hitting way.

There are bad elements in every system, and I wanted to talk about some of those people," he explained.

The producers gave credit to both Ravi Teja and Shiva Nirvana for the film’s huge success.

They mentioned the movie's wide appeal across different age groups, including older viewers, and said the box office performance was way better than expected.

"Even elderly people are coming to theatres and watching the movie.

Irumudi has made two to three times more than what we expected.The film is growing day by day.We always felt Ravi Teja was the perfect choice, and it proved right.Irumudi is a very comfortable film made within the time frame and budget," the producers said.

The film has now crossed the 200 crore mark, becoming the first movie in Ravi Teja’s career to reach this milestone.

With its strong run in theaters, Irumudi has become a major commercial success for the actor, director, and the whole team.
