Since the Ranabaali teaser was released, there have been some worries about how violence is shown in the movie.Director Rahul Sankrityan has been open about this and admitted that there were some very violent and intense scenes in the film. However, he said that these scenes have been made less violent without changing the story or the emotional impact.
Rahul explained that after showing the film to different groups of people, he received feedback that some of the violent and cruel parts were too strong and hard to watch.
Because of this, he decided to reduce the level of violence so that it wouldn't disturb the audience or affect how the rest of the story is received.
Ranabaali is a period action drama. Vijay Deverakonda plays Singanamala Bobbili Ranabaali, a rebellious warrior who fights against British rule and helps his starving community during the Great Famine.
In an exclusive interview with Gulte, Rahul said, "I showed the preview of Ranabaali to different audience groups.
The feedback was that some of the violent and cruel scenes were too intense and hard to watch. So, I toned down the violence because it was disturbing and affected the next scene for the audience."
It's good that Rahul made these changes, as modern audiences find extreme violence difficult to handle, and more films are moving towards this approach.
It has been a while since Vijay Deverakonda delivered a big blockbuster at the box office.
The film also marks the first time Vijay and Rashmika are seen together on screen after they got married.
Therefore, Ranabaali is a big deal for Vijay, Rashmika, and Rahul, who previously directed Shyam Singha Roy and Taxiwaala.
The film is expected to do well and is set to compete with Rajinikanth's Jailer 2 in theaters, making the competition interesting to watch.Let's see what happens with Ranabaali.
