Young Actress Replaces Raashii In Blockbuster Series?

Shahid Kapoor's show Farzi did really well on OTT, and now the second season is coming back with a new story. The new season is being directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K.Recently, news came out that a young actress named Yukti Thareja has been cast as the main female character, and she confirmed this to a news website.

In the first season, Raashii Khanna played the female lead, and she had said she would start working on the second season soon.

But now, with Yukti joining the project, there's talk that Raashii might not be in the second season anymore.

Yukti will be working with Shahid Kapoor, who is returning as Sunny.

The new season is focusing more on Yukti's character. She plays a young woman from Generation Z who isn't afraid to challenge things, and she's already finished her filming.

This is a big role for Yukti, and it's still unclear whether Raashii's character will come back or not.

Some reports say that Raashii's character might stay in the second season, but Yukti is taking over the main female role, which suggests the makers might be giving more importance to the female lead instead of removing Raashii entirely. However, there hasn't been an official statement yet.

Yukti has been in some popular shows and movies like Delhi Crime Season 3, Kiran Abbavaram's K-Ramp, Emraan Hashmi's song Lut Gaye, and the Malayalam film Marco.

Vijay Sethupathi is returning as officer Michael Vedanayagam, and the new season will be released on Prime Video during the first half of 2027.
