Venky’s Clear Message to Bollywood Stars Eyeing South Cinema

Deepika Padukone decided not to be part of Kalki 2 and Spirit because she couldn’t agree with the way things work in South cinema.When the projects were announced, there was a lot of discussion online, and many fans supported her choice.

Even now, a lot of filmmakers are being asked for their opinions on this.

The most recent one is director Venky Atluri, who is working on the promotions of Viswanath and Sons, a film starring Suriya.Venky gave a realistic response: Bollywood actors need to be ready to adjust to the conditions they are given.

He said, “If I’m doing a Bollywood film, I will learn about the culture and the working standards there.

Then I will start working.The same goes for a Bollywood actor coming to Telugu cinema—they need to adjust in the same way.We usually work for 11 to 12 hours on set.Whether it’s a Tamil, Malayalam, or Hindi actor, they should be ready to follow Telugu working conditions.”  

Venky Atluri makes films in Telugu and Tamil and isn’t interested in working in Hindi cinema.

But he still made a thoughtful statement about learning the culture and respecting the working standards, which shows he’s professional.

In the same way, anyone who wants to work in Telugu or South cinema should understand the working conditions and be ready to change as needed.

If someone is too stubborn, they might not be able to survive in that environment.

As for Viswanath and Sons, the film also stars Mamitha Baiju as the female lead.

GV Prakash Kumar is the music director.The movie was shot in Tamil and will be dubbed into Telugu.It is set to release on August 14th.

Dulquer Salmaan Bets Big on a Controversial Concept

Dulquer Salmaan is working with director Nahas Hidhayath, who made a big name for himself with the movie RDX.Now, the actor and director are making a new film called I'M Game.It's a Malayalam movie, but it will be dubbed into other languages and will have a release across the whole of India.The makers released the trailer today, and it talks about a very hot topic in society — gambling.

In the trailer, Dulquer Salmaan plays a chaotic tailor who gets into the gambling world.

He gets involved in all kinds of gambling, from betting on money to cricket matches and more.He runs a big, organized gambling business and also consults a psychiatrist, played by Kayadu Lohar.The trailer looks very stylish and big, showing Dulquer as the most aggressive character on screen.

The film is about casinos, sports stadiums, and corporate offices where people are always thinking about money.

The visuals look amazing, and Nahas, who surprised everyone with intense action in RDX, is trying something new and different here.This could be a big talking point once the movie comes out.The trailer sets up the story well, but we'll have to see how the emotions come across in the actual movie.

Jimshi Khalid is handling the cinematography and Jakes Bejoy is the music director.

The film features Dulquer Salmaan, Kayadu Lohar, Mysskin, Antony Varghese, Samyuktha Viswanathan, Vinay Forrt, Kathir, and others.The movie is set to release during the Onam festival.

Despite Taking Years, Stars Still Opt for Sequels!

 Despite some sequels not being successful, more films in Telugu cinema are being made in two parts.Even though some superstar actors take a long time to finish their projects, many filmmakers are still choosing the sequel format to tell bigger stories.

Jr NTR's much-awaited film, Dragon, is being made as a two-part story.

The movie, directed by Prashanth Neel, is being made on a large scale, and the creators think that one film might not be enough to cover the whole story, which has a global feel.

On the other hand, Allu Arjun's Raaka is also reportedly following the same path.

Although there's no official confirmation yet, there are reports that the makers are planning to release the film in two parts, just like Atlee's movie.

Now, the latest news says that Ram Charan and Sukumar's upcoming film, RC17, is also being developed as a two-part series, which has fans and movie investors excited.

What makes this trend even more special is the way the films are being released.

Some of the above films might follow the Dhurandhar model, where both parts come out within four to five months.

This method keeps the audience excited and prevents long waits between the parts.

The big question now is whether the audience will keep supporting this trend or start preferring single films again.
