With the release date fast approaching, Pushpa fever has swept across the US. The successful promotional events, the release of the trailer and the song "Kissik" and Devi Sri Prasad's tirade against the producers at a pre-release event in Chennai are now the talk of the town among film buffs, industry insiders and media personalities.
With people reluctant to read any film related news apart from "Pushpa 2: The Rules", the "Robin Hood" team held a press conference in Hyderabad today. The film's producers Nithiin, Sreelela, Venky Kudumula, Naveen & Ravi attended the event and participated in a Q&A with media personnel. Unsurprisingly, journalists hardly asked any questions about "Robin Hood". Most of the questions were directed towards the producers of "Pushpa 2: The Rules" and Sreelela, who danced with Allu Arjun in "Kissik".
Though Nithiin was clearly unfazed, it must have been very uncomfortable for him to see journalists asking questions about another film at the press conference of his next film. Kudos to Nithiin for listening patiently and barely answering any of the questions posed during the 30-minute Q&A. While some other heroes might have thrown tantrums, Nithiin, known for his no-nonsense and non-controversial attitude, did not create any undue trouble at the event. The team could have either instructed the journalists to ask questions only about Robin Hood or held a press conference after the release of Pushpa 2: The Rules to generate more attention for the film.
Meanwhile, at the press conference, director Nithiin exuded supreme confidence in the success of the film and said that Robin Hood is sure to be a box office hit this Christmas. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on December 25.
