Rajamouli Brings New Technology To Telugu Cinema With Varanasi

Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli are making a new Telugu movie called Varanasi. The film's launch happened in a big way in Hyderabad today. At the event, Rajamouli said they are using a new technology for this movie called Premium Large Scale Format, which will be shown in IMAX.

He explained that usually, films are shot in a standard cinema format and then changed to IMAX later.

 But with this movie, they are doing it differently.

Rajamouli said, "We are bringing a new technology to Telugu cinema called 'Premium large-scale format IMAX.'

 Normally, we use a regular camera and then convert it to IMAX. Movies like Baahubali and RRR were made in IMAX format. But Varanasi will be in full-screen format." 

He also mentioned that Superstar Krishna introduced many new technologies to the cinema industry.

 Mahesh Babu, his son, is also bringing a new technology with this film. The movie will be shown in full screen when it comes out.

Durga Arts and Showing Business are funding the movie.

 It is set to release in 2027 during the summer.
