Sri Venkateswara Creations, a well-known name in Telugu cinema, has been making family-friendly movies for many years. In recent times, the company has had both successful and not-so-successful movies, and unlike some other companies, they haven't been pushing hard into big, nationwide projects.
At the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, co-producer Shirish talked about what's coming next.
Their movie Sankranthiki Vasthunnam was shown on the last day of the festival as part of the Indian Panorama section.
Shirish said 2026 is going to be a major year for Sri Venkateswara Creations.
They have at least six movies planned for release and nine films already in production. Venu Yeldandi's Yellamma, with Devi Sri Prasad in the lead, is coming out next year. Vijay Deverakonda and Ravi Kiran Kola's Rowdy Janardhana, which is currently being filmed, is set for a Dusshera 2026 release.
Ashish's Dethadi is also set to come out in the same year.
Akshay Kumar has joined the Hindi version of Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, making it a big Bollywood project for the banner.
Pawan Kalyan's next movie with Sri Venkateswara Creations is expected to come out in 2026.
Vamsi Paidipally's Hindi directorial debut with Salman Khan is about to start filming, with a release planned for next year as well.
With many Telugu and Hindi projects in the works at the same time, Sri Venkateswara Creations is getting ready for one of its busiest and most exciting years yet.
