Don’t Cross the Limits: Shivaji Advises Heroines on Dressing

Shivaji, a senior actor who recently regained fame after being on Bigg Boss and later won praise for his role in the movie Court, is currently working on multiple projects. One of his upcoming films, Dandora, where he plays a key character, is set to release this month on the 25th.

At a pre-release event on Monday night, Shivaji made some controversial comments about how heroines dress, which sparked a lot of discussion.
He strongly advised actresses not to go beyond certain limits when it comes to their clothing, even in the name of being glamorous.

He started by complimenting anchor Prashanthi for wearing a saree to the event, calling her elegant and graceful.
Then he broadened his comments, saying that true beauty comes from grace and dignity rather than from revealing clothes. He believed that traditional or well-covered outfits show real beauty, not clothes that expose the body.

Shivaji pointed out that when actresses wear inappropriate clothes, people may smile on the outside, but many secretly wonder why they choose such outfits instead of looking better in more modest fashion.
He clarified that his views are often misinterpreted as being against women’s freedom, which is not the case.

He also said that a woman is a reflection of nature and that dignity gives her respect.
He shared that his mother remains a symbol of strength and grace in his mind. He also noted that even today, many women carry themselves with elegance. He gave examples of actresses who have made a big impact while keeping a balance between glamour and grace.

Shivaji stressed that glamour is okay, but only up to a point.
He also mentioned that women wearing sarees have won major beauty titles on international stages, showing the strength and appeal of traditional elegance.
