Glimpse: Rowdy.. Bigger Than Monster

Vijay Deverakonda is returning in a strong and powerful role as Rowdy Janardhana in his new movie.

This violent drama is directed by Ravi Kiran Kola, who previously directed Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru. It is produced by Dil Raju under the SVC banner. The film is planned for a national release and is set to come out in December 2026.

The title glimpse was released today in Hyderabad, and fans cheered loudly.
Releasing the glimpse almost a year ahead shows the makers are working on a big and aggressive marketing plan. The video mainly introduces the main character without showing too much. Since most of the movie is still being filmed, the team is keeping the story a secret.

The story is set in a village named Kalingapatnam, which seems to be ruled by fear and violence.
The people there are called rowdies, but not all of them are criminals. The name "Rowdy" is part of their surname. Among them rises Janardhana, played by Vijay Deverakonda, a young man who teaches the meaning of violence through bloodshed. He is not afraid to kill anyone who gets in his way. Behind this violent nature is a painful and dark childhood. The anger from his early life slowly turns him into a monster. The real identity of Rowdy Janardhana and the reasons behind his destructive path will be shown only when the film comes out next year.

The visuals in the teaser are very intense.
Christo Xavier's background music perfectly matches the dark tone of the story. The supporting cast has not been made public yet, including Keerthy Suresh, who plays the female lead. Even after the problems with Kingdom, Vijay Deverakonda is taking on a similar genre again. He seems to be putting a lot of effort into making a strong comeback. His changed body, sharp moustache, and unique way of speaking have already impressed fans.

However, the use of a controversial and abusive word in the glimpse has drawn attention again.
It is yet to be seen how social media reacts to this choice in the coming days.
