Back To Back Hurdles For Star Director

Vetrimaaran, a well-known Tamil filmmaker, is famous for making movies that are both gritty and non-linear. Earlier this year, he announced a new film with Simbhu after two of his major projects were delayed due to various problems. He was originally planning to work with Suriya on a movie called Vaadivaasal and later confirmed a sequel to Vada Chennai with Dhanush. But both films faced serious delays, which led him to announce Simbhu's Arasan as a replacement.

Now, according to reliable news from the Tamil film industry, Simbhu's Arasan also had its own issues even before it started filming.
However, the reason is not related to Vetrimaaran. The problem comes from a conflict between Simbhu and the production company Vels Film International. The film wasn't able to begin as expected because of this disagreement. The shooting was supposed to start on Monday, but the dispute between Simbhu and Vels Film International has stopped the process.

Details show that Vels Film International filed a case in the Madras High Court in 2023.
They asked for a court order to stop Simbhu from working on other films because he didn't fulfill his commitments. The production company claimed that Simbhu had received an advance for a film called Corona Kumar but didn't start the shoot even after signing an agreement.

The legal issue is still ongoing and affecting Simbhu.
Because of this, he couldn't start filming Vetrimaaran’s movie. This is the third project of Vetrimaaran that has faced trouble before even starting. His film with Suriya, Vaadivaasal, also didn’t get off the ground after the announcement. Now, Arasan has joined the list of delayed projects.

Fans were looking forward to Vetrimaaran delivering strong films.
But unfortunately, his projects continue to face problems even before the filming begins.
