It has been one year since a sad stampede happened at the Sandhya theatre in Hyderabad during the release of Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2. The incident caused the death of a woman named Revathi and left her son Sri Teja seriously injured. He is still recovering from his injuries.
Earlier today, there were many false reports on social media and some websites saying that Sri Teja's father, Bhaskar, couldn't afford the medical costs for his treatment because Allu Arjun had ignored their request for more help.
However, producer Bunny Vas, who is close to Allu Arjun, spoke up in the morning and said that the actor is fully supporting the family.
Now, producer Dil Raju, who was chosen by the Telangana government to act as a mediator between the family and Allu Arjun, has come forward to stop the spread of these false stories.
Dil Raju met with Sri Teja's father, Bhaskar, and checked on Sri Teja's health. He explained that Allu Arjun had already given 2 Crores in financial support, which was deposited in Sri Teja's name. Additionally, Allu Arjun had covered medical expenses of 70 lakhs for his treatment.
Dil Raju also mentioned that the interest from a fixed deposit is being used to cover Sri Teja's ongoing treatment and the family's monthly expenses.
Sri Teja's father, Bhaskar, told the media he had asked Allu Arjun and Allu Arvind, through Dil Raju, for more money to continue the rehabilitation process for some more time to help Sri Teja recover as soon as possible.
Dil Raju said that Allu Arjun has agreed to provide the necessary funds to continue the treatment for the next six months or one year, until Sri Teja is fully recovered.
