Kollywood Debut Turns Unlucky For This Beauty

Krithi Shetty is one of the few young actresses who was expected to become a top name in the industry after she started her career in 2021.
She made a big impression with her first movie in Tollywood, Uppena, which was a huge romantic hit. She followed that up with other successful films like Shyam Singha Roy and Bangarraju, which helped her become a big star.

However, after that, she faced a lot of failures.
Her movies like Warrior, Custody, and Manamey didn't do well and affected her career a lot. She finally got a chance to revive her career with her Malayalam debut, ARM, which was a success.

This success continued her good run with her debut films in different languages, starting with Super 30 in Bollywood and then Uppena in Telugu.

She then had high hopes for her Kollywood debut, Vaa Vaathiyaar, in which she was the lead opposite Karthi.
But the film did not do well at the box office. Even though it was released during the Pongal festival, it didn't get much attention or response from the audience. Krithi didn't get much to work with in her role and didn't shine as much as she hoped.

The bad result of Vaa Vaathiyaar ended her winning streak with debut films.
Now she is hoping to come back strong with her next Tamil film, Love Insurance Kompany, directed by Pradeep Ranganathan. She wants to make a big comeback with this science fiction romantic movie and get better opportunities in Kollywood.

While she waits for Love Insurance Kompany to release, there are rumors that she might have been offered a key role in Megastar Chiranjeevi's upcoming film, directed by Bobby.
If that happens, it could be a major turning point in her career.
