Illegal IPTV Users Face Heavy Fines and Legal Consequences

Some well-known streaming services are now sending legal warnings to people using illegal IPTV services. Many Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) in the US are getting these alerts via WhatsApp, email, and text messages.

A lot of these NRIs have one or more illegal IPTV setups at home.

 Using pirated content without permission is considered an intellectual property rights violation, and such cases are handled by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Since ICE is actively checking immigration rules, using illegal IPTV services can be very dangerous for NRIs.

 It might even result in being sent back to their home country.

Because of this, it's better to get rid of any illegal IPTV boxes, uninstall all unauthorized IPTV apps right away, and switch to legal streaming platforms to follow US laws.
